She's snarky and hilarious. Rick is a straight laced cop and they couldn't be more opposite. Watching them argue and banter was quite amusing Of course there's a breakup, but the grand gesture is adorable and the epilogue is perfect.
Plus it was fun to see Natalie and Eric again. I can't wait to see I've read a couple of other books by Kira, so I was excited to see this book.
I can't wait to see who the next book in the series is about. A by the books cop, Rick, meets no rules apply, Gina.
The sparks flew from chapter one! Gina's ex-boyfriend is breaking into her cupcake truck as a rendezvous spot while vandalizing the place to get back at her for breaking up with him.
Gina is staking the truck out when the cops get called on her for being a peeping tom. Ricks instant attraction to Gina has him agreeing to stakeout the truck with her to catch her ex in the act.
So many crazy things happen from that point on making this story A by the books cop, Rick, meets no rules apply, Gina. So many crazy things happen from that point on making this story fun and entertaining!

Gina Silvano is on the stakeout to find who is breaking into her food truck. She knows its her ex-boyfriend and is ready to catch him in the act.
To Ginas dismay, her neighbor calls the cops on her peeping tom ways. And in comes Officer Rick Boyd. Totally, boring straight laced Rick is caught off guard by this deviant beauty.
They are polar opposites, but opposites attract 4 Stars! They are polar opposites, but opposites attract right? Can they overcome their differences?
Oh man, what a great book! Gina cracks me up. She is strong, sassy, defiant, but full of fun too. She was his.
Heart and soul. The man gives his own sister a ticket for talking on the cell phone while driving!!
I like that he loves her enough to bend the rules for her. He was so screwed. It makes it fun and interesting. Kira has given us another good book.
Happy reading! Recipe for disaster or match made in heaven? Rick is a cop. Has a strong sense of right and wrong, walks the straight and narrow, likes: rules, boundaries, and orderly routine.
Gina is a hotheaded spunky cupcake maker, with a spit fire attitude, technicolor hair, assorted piercings and a deep aversion to officers of the law.
Totally, Sweetly, Irrevocably is a cute and funny opposites attract romance. I liked the instant pull between them and the easy bantering but thought the pacing was a little Recipe for disaster or match made in heaven?
I liked the instant pull between them and the easy bantering but thought the pacing was a little fast. Gina's self sabotage and Rick's giving up without a fight when crap hit the fan kind of took some of that initial heat away from the relationship.
I liked the lighthearted tone of the romance, the characters where well written and entertaining, I was just left wanting to see them as a couple, with none of that outside drama.
Also Gina's ex getting with Rick's sister was just icky and I could have done without that whole scenario. Jul 10, Brooklyn JoJo rated it really liked it.

This is definitely another of those books where my recommendation is go read the novel instead of my review! This is an engaging, laugh out loud romance featuring a handsome, rule following police officer and a rebellious, feisty, independent young lady who has little regard for the police.
These two seem like total opposites and the attraction between them is instantaneous, unwanted and irresistible! Their first encounter is when an elderly lady calls the police to report that Gina is on the This is definitely another of those books where my recommendation is go read the novel instead of my review!
Their first encounter is when an elderly lady calls the police to report that Gina is on the fire escape outside the lady's home, trying to catch the people using Gina's cupcake truck without her permission and Rick Boyd is one of the officers arriving to deal with the situation.
This is the just the first of their encounters - and the start of a humorous, well written romance that I thoroughly enjoyed escaping into.
This is the second novel in the series and does include characters like Nat and Eric from the first book in the series, 'Truly, Madly, Sweetly'.
I particularly enjoy how the author brings her characters to life, revealing aspects of their childhood, their family and friends to help readers understand and empathise with them and their attitudes.
This is a great read that I have no hesitation in highly recommending to anyone who enjoys escaping into a superbly crafted contemporary romance with comedic episodes interwoven throughout it!
Many thanks to the author, publishers and NetGalley for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. Jul 18, Suze Lavender rated it it was amazing.
Gina is keeping an eye on her cupcake truck to make sure nobody will break in again. Unfortunately someone called the police to report her for stalking.
When officer Rick meets Gina he's surprised by how much he likes her. She isn't his usual type, she has piercings, multicolored hair and she makes her own rules.
He offers to help Gina with the truck watching, so she doesn't do it unsupervised any longer while it also gives him the perfect excuse to get to know her.
Rick keeps meeting Gina Gina is keeping an eye on her cupcake truck to make sure nobody will break in again. Rick keeps meeting Gina professionally, which irritates him, but also makes him like her even more.
They both think they are too different to make it as a couple, but they can't stay away from each other. Will their clashing personalities mess things up for Rick and Gina or will they change their minds and give themselves an actual chance at happiness?
Totally, Sweetly, Irrevocably is a wonderful romantic story. Gina is tough, she isn't afraid to speak her mind and she stands up for what she believes in.
Typically, the Hubs and I placed the seasonal decor in tubs with a piece of copy paper ripped in half and taped to the tub — a few words handscratched aross with Sharpie.
And what happened every December? Dragging up to 10 decor containers and random larger pieces of Christmas decor and scattering them around the living room is a formula for major crash and burn.
I really shut down when I am around large amounts of clutter. Last year, I came up with some organized solutions for seasonal decorations — by arranging things by room and station rather than by type.
Luckily, I found this system worked better for me. But ultimately, to-do lists are a moving target and you must trust your own methods of getting your life in order.
Read all the advice columns, blogs, and books you want, but ultimately you must find what works for you. I do have a pretty simple and straightforward method for helping you figure out the best way of dealing with your own chaos.
Noah took five-year-old Charlie to school only to find she had no school. This made having our Monday morning meeting over Skype with an education consultant in New York difficult.
So we set Charlie up in our bedroom with a movie — proving exactly how fantastic Mr. Fox can actually be. The dog started barking halfway through the meeting because a bunch of cows entered our yard.
You can cut your dusting time in half with one common household item: a dryer sheet. Simply swipe it over your baseboards and its anti-static properties will keep dust from sticking while making your home smell fresh.
Is that mess from dinner not budging from your pan? Fill it with hot water, drop in an Alka Seltzer tablet, and let it sit.
In about 15 minutes, that mess should wipe up easily. If you don't feel like shredding chicken by hand, you can let an appliance do the work for you.
Simply drop pieces of cooked chicken into the bowl part of your stand mixer, attach the dough hook, and turn it on for up to 15 seconds at a time until the chicken is thoroughly shredded.
The most frustrating thing about using a hand mixer is the splatter around your kitchen you're left to clean up afterward. To keep those messes to a minimum, poke two holes in the lid of a reusable container that's lost its mate we all have them!
If you find yourself hitting the walls of your garage or carport with your car door on a regular basis, there's a simple fix. Use a nail gun to attach a pool noodle to your wall to prevent scrapes!
If you want to keep your clothing smelling fresh while you travel, there's no need for fabric refresher spray—just pack some soap.

Press between the individual pieces of jewelry with your fingers to seal each item in its own compartment without the need for a bulky jewelry case.
If you end up with smashed fingers every time you try to hammer a nail, a clothespin can help. Simply hold the nail in place with the clothespin for the first few swings, then take it away when you're ready to finish the job.

What Is an Organizer? Practical Tips Some days, one little change is enough to count as a victory. I prayed for someone who would love me for everything I am and everything I am not.
I asked that He would be able to handle all of my crazy emotions and be able to understand my very difficult struggle with body image and food.
I think on some level I made the list in hopes that it would keep me from any more broken hearts because no man could possibly meet every requirement on my list.
Yet again…. I was wrong. I was sure I was crazy for making that list. So I was blown away when I met David that December night. The first thing I noticed about him?
The light that shown out of him. The light of Christ that I prayed for. By the end of the night I had checked almost everything off of my list.
He was a runner, worked in home restoration, and had 5 sisters so he was well equipped to handle my emotional break downs and body image issues.
The only thing missing was the glasses. Just to show us what He can do. Just to reveal to our doubting hearts what a personal God He is.
But the same God I screamed at that night for not getting my way is the same one who placed His hand on my life and changed the course of my story with a tall, brown-eyed boy.
So, I tell you all of that to say that you can have it too! You can pray and get the husband that you want and need. Yes, I believe God intends for certain people to be together and that He can make it happen no matter what.
But, I also believe that God greatly blesses those that are fervent in prayer and faithful and that He will write their stories with a little extra magic.
Be Faithful. And He will give you everything good that your heart desires. Does He have a plan of His own? But if you truly desire what is good then you will also desire what He has for you.
And when your wants align with what God wants for you…amazing things will happen! And it may take time. Delay does not equal Refusal. He taught David patience and how to trust in Him.
He taught me about the power of prayer and believing that God can do amazing things. Maybe you have been doubting or maybe you have given up or maybe you have prayed for what seems like forever.
Dear, sweet friend…there is a lesson in that!
